Why do we need a Quality Audience?

When asked this question, children make coem up with answers similar to these from the Working Party:

• It is polite
• It shows respect for each other
• It helps everyone make sense of what is being said
• It allows children to clarify and validate their own ideas
• It allows everyone to discuss and challenge ideas in a supportive environment
• Good scientists listen to each other and discuss ideas
